**Project Title** : Validate VHD and Option Work Measurement

**Learning Objectives**


+ Videotape VHD work done on the main assembly line pre and post paint

+ Videotape option work done on the main assembly line pre and post paint

+ Use a stopwatch to measure the time required for the actions on the video

+ Accurate data for VHD and options work done on the main assembly line

+ The intern will learn a valuable traditional IE skill


**Project Skills**


+ Intern needs to be able to operate a video recorder

+ The intern will gain work measurement skills in a practical application rather than a lab setting

+ The intern will need a video recorder and a laptop

+ The actions required for this project are predetermined

**Minimum Education Requirements:**


+ Applicants must be currently **enrolled and pursuing** a degree are Industrial and Systems, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship

+ Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
